Lucky Lax Club Coaches for 2017 Club Season


Lucky Lax is thrilled to announce a tremendous group of coaches to their Club Staff.


2018 Head Coach     Kelly McCormack

A native of West Chester, PA, Kelly (Haggerty) played as an Attacker at Ohio State from 2006-2010. During her tenure there, Kelly received All-American honors, was a Tweaaraton Trophy semi-finalist, and broke the all time career points record. Kelly is incredibly passionate about lacrosse and enjoys sharing her knowledge with younger players to help foster their love for the game.

2018 Assistant Coach     Ariel Lane

Ariel Lane is a native of Vero Beach, FL and played for James Madison University as an attacker from 2008-2012. While at JMU, she was selected to the CAA All-Tournament team and won the team's Unsung Hero award. She is excited to share her passion and looks forward to coaching the team with Kelly this summer.

2019 Head Coach     Doug Troutner

Doug is currently the Head Coach at Worthington Kilbourne. The Wolves won the 2014 Divison II state championship. During his 28 years of coaching girls lacrosse, he has had the opportunity to coach several All-Americans. Many of his former players have since become coaches themselves at the middle school, high school, and collegiate level. His expertise at coaching defense should prove beneficial to the club players.

2019 Assistant Coach     Vanessa Scott

An Ohio Native, Vanessa grew up in Worthington and attended Worthington Kilbourne High School. She was recruited to play at Notre Dame College earning the titles Best Defensive Player and MVP. Vanessa is currently in her 6th year coaching for Worthington. She loves to help and see players master their skills and watch a player come alive on the field because that is the place where they feel home.

2020 Head Coach     Morgan Obendorfer

A native of Downingtown Pa, Morgan was a defender for Ohio State where she was captain during her junior season. Morgan received the Buckeye Power Club Award for overall excellence and leadership in the weightroom. Morgan graduated from OSU in May 2014 and now works for the Columbus Blue Jackets. She is also currently the head coach for Olentangy Hyatts Middle School. Morgan loves seeing players improve and watching girls have fun while playing the sport that they love.

2020 Assistant Coach     Armonde Moore

An Ohio native, Armonde is from Upper Arlington where she attended Upper Arlington High School. She was a 4 year varsity team member playing midfield and was a member of the 2013 State Championship team. She currently attends the University of Cincinnati where she played midfield for the Women's Lacrosse Team. Armonde is dedicated to sharing the love of the game and helping the young girls grow in their knowledge of lacrosse.

2020 Assistant Coach     Bill Wolford

Bill Wolford is the current director of Max Elite Lacrosse as well as assistant coach of the girl's lacrosse team at Worthington Kilbourne High School. Wolford has coached in three state championship games and has won more than 230 games as head coach.

2021 Head Coach     Kendall Gordon

A Columbus, Ohio native, Kendall went to Thomas Worthington High School where she was a 4-year letter winner and started in every game. A midfielder in high school, Kendall transitioned to defense in college where she played all four years for top-10 nationally ranked University of Louisville. Kendall is currently an Varsity assistant coach at Thomas Worthington HS where she enjoys seeing players grow on the field and off.

2021 Assistant Coach    Katy Williams

Williams is a native of Westerville, Ohio where she attended Westerville North and is currently a senior at Otterbein University. While at Otterbein, Williams has been voted as a captain for the past 2 years and has started in all games as a midfielder. She can also be seen coaching for Lucky Lax at our indoor league and at summer camps. Katy is excited to share her passion for lacrosse with younger players and watch them improve playing a sport they love. 

2021 Assistant Coach     Bill Wolford

Bill Wolford is the current director of Max Elite Lacrosse as well as the varsity assistant coach of the girl's lacrosse team at Worthington Kilbourne High School. Wolford has coached in three state championship games and has won more than 230 games as head coach.

2022 Head Coach     Brittney Zerhusen

A Maryland native, Brittney played at the highly ranked Century High School. A recruited player for the Buckeyes, Brittney garnered second team All-American and Regional first team honors during her playing career. Brittney has incredible offensive talent and is a high impact player. Even more impressive, Brittney is a passionate coach who is committed to developing each player. Brittney currently coaches at Thomas Worthington High School and the 2018 club season will be her 7th year coaching club with Lucky Lax!

2022 Assistant Coach     Caroline Eldridge

Caroline is a Cincinnati, Ohio native and played attack at Anderson High School where she led her team to 3 state championships and later went on to play attack at Wittenberg University. Caroline's favorite part about coaching is seeing her players improve to be the best they can be as lacrosse players but also grow as individuals. She currently is an assistant coach at Thomas Worthington High School.

2023 & 2024 Head Coach     Cecelia Capuano

A 2011 graduate of Thomas Worthington, Cecelia was a four year starter for the Cardinals, finishing her career in the top ten all time leading scorers for Worthington. She was Offensive Most Valuable Player as a junior and palyed in over 60 wins. After graduating, Cecelia went on to play for The Ohio State University Club Team leading the Buckeyes to their first final four appearance in 2014. Cecelia has coached at the youth, middle school level and is currently the JV Head coach at Thomas Worthington.
